One visit, I needed a wisdom tooth extracted and was recommended to him by a coworker. I didn't know I should have gone to an oral surgeon as Dr. Nelson was so assuring. well, he used a tool to loosen my tooth, cracked my entire buckle plate and then proceeded to try and extract it from my mouth, tearing the cheek skin and having cheek fat coming out of my mouth. He then proceeded to get on the phone and call an oral surgeon and exclaim, "I screwed up, I shouldn't have done this". The came back out and tried to make it seem like nothing was wrong. I was laid up in bed for four days on medication. He had to stitch my cheek back up to my jaw and he created a little web pocket that I still have to this day.

Dr. Nelson and his staff are the best. If my grandchildren need a preceedure done by their dentists we always call Dr. Nelson's office to get advice first (their ins. policy doesn't cover him) We trust him completely and he is painless!!!

definitely the go-to guy! Casual atmosphere, no pressure (or pain), very friendly service in front & back office, very knowledgeable & experienced, top notch dentistry. Would highly recommend!!
