I have seen Dr.Yankie-Marsh for three years when she took over the practice of a former dentist, Dr. Knez. I feel that her maintenance on teeth is not up to par. I had been scheduled to have teeth cleanings every three months because of calculus build-up. Her exams at this time of the cleaning were infrequent and the periodontal probes, which in my case should have been done at every cleaning were done once a year if that. I should have had root planing as my gums were bleeding when I brushed them and nothing like that was recommended. Consequently, I had severe bone loss and a fractured root, that in my opinion, would have been prevented by an exam and x-rays. I had to have my tooth removed and am in the process of waiting for the area to heal and the bone graft to form before I get an implant.
This procedure all totaled wil be $5,000.00. I think that Dr. Marsh lacks bedside manners and has such a busy practice, that a lot slips through the cracks. After, I went to a new dentist just two weeks after I had a tooth cleaning, the doctor said that it was a priority to get my teeth cleaned. I told him that I just had my teeth cleaned, and he was astonished. And, asked "How long did it take?". Then two days later I had a teeth cleaning

Dr. Yankie-Marsh is located in MILL VALLEY, not Corte Madera as listing indicates. Dr. Y-M took over the practice of my former dentist. If I didn't like her I wouldn't have stayed, She is thorough, gentle and has a good chair-side manner. The hygienists in her office are professional and thorough without killing your mouth. One is even a licensed dentist. The office is relaxing and staff is friendly. The costs are in line and the cost or treatment is never questioned by my dental plan.

Constantly mis-schedules. I went there for a cleaning and was told there wasn't time too finish so I would have to come back. Wanted to replace fillings that two other dentists thought was unnecessary.
