I went to Dr. Hoeltzel for braces about 5 year back. They were currently moving from one facility to their new facility (which is really nice by the way), I came in for a braces consultation, and I was about 16 at the time. He has been my favorite doctor (of any kind) so far! He's and his staff are very polite and caring and don't make you feel uncomfortable at all. Dr. Hoeltzel is one of those doctors who will remember you even outside of the office. Aside from his wonderful personality, he has years of experience and does a great job in my opinion! I still go back for post treatment checks and find it a joy to come home from college and go to the Orthodontist. Would highly reccommend.

He has more patients than he can competently handle. I was kept in braces for almost 10 years before I went to another orthodontist who realized immediately that I required jaw surgery. As a result of his haphazard efforts of pulling my teeth and placing me in torturous headgear my teeth no longer fit together. I hope he does not give anyone else permanent damage.
