DO NOT take your children to Dr.WEbb. I was his patent for 8 years and he said less than 100 words to me the entire time. He used a very cruel and innefective device supossedly designed to retrain my tongue instead of recomending a good speach therapist (which is the appropriate recourse, except in very severe cases of tongue thrusting in which case a very different appliance is normally used in addition to speech therapy) It had 4 prongs, each just barely dull enough to not draw blood that prevented me from swallowing at all, much less properly, and I had to hold my tongue all the way in the back of my mouth 24/7 or have it shoved against the very tender underside of my tongue. To put this in perspective, my mother was completly oblivious to the fact that I was suicidally depressed for a year, but had it taken out in less than 2 weeks. I also suspect him of stretching out how long I needed braces, I am not an orthodontist, but there is no way my bottom teeth were crooked enough to need braces for 2.5 years.
