One of the best dentists ever. Crown work and overall all dentistry is excellent-top of the chart- and I've been to many good dentists. Highly recommended by the director of the pain clinic at Cedars (he uses this dentist). You can't go wrong here.
About Front Desk: Excellent support- 5 stars. Really good at processing the insurance paperwork.

I got at least 6 crowns re-done from 1998 to 2001 w/Dr. Fort. He does work hard, however he left me without a bite and he also left the wrapping cord inside while preparing a crown. His office front desk was not responsive to my calls and said I always was sensitive to treatments and recommeded to take Advil and wait for my next appointment in 3 weeks. I had an inflamation an was very sore for 3 weeks. He would not see me as an emergency. Then he admitted it was his mistake. I got no refund for the mistake. If I had kept the cord, I could have sued and recover the money for a badly done job and the disregard of my complains. After 5 crowns I knew something was wrong. There are many good Dr.s without the "God Attitude" in LA. No need to go to this one.
About Hygienist: Very good Hygienist.

Dr. Fort has great technical skills. He is very careful,thoughtful and thorough. On several occasions traveling other dentists have looked in my mouth and said "wow, who did this". He is great at minimizing pain, is responsive to questions and concerns. He has a certain obsessivness about his work. He will not settle, it has to be right.
