Excellent Dentist and Dental office. Thorough exams, followup, very cooperative office staff. This office has been the Dentist to my adult brother, my wife, my adult children, my mother and mother in law (both 90+) for years. We all give them sterling recommendations.
About Hygienist: I have been treated by two hygienists in the office, Jackie and Craig (wife and brother of Dr. Schoenbaum). I have cleanings every three months, two here and two at an oral surgeon's office. The ones here are by far more gentle and equally thorough.

I like them but be warned that facilities & interaction are "small town America" not glitz LA. If you want a dentist that attends every dental conference (and writes it off his taxes), roars up in a Porsche (and ditto), and tries to find reasons to drill - this is *not* the place for you. Very mellow & a wee teench eccentric. Many long-time patients. BTW, my hygenist experiences (Craig) have been wonderful.

The Doctor is OK...kind of nerdy....but the staff was very rude, and the hygienist butchered my gums....She started the session late, finished early, and then tried to book me for a second appointment, at a cost. The lead hygienist tried to appease me, but her style was abraisive, judgemental, and accusatory. To be honest, I was truly shocked at their lack of professionalism and character.
