I am an adult who had braces for two years. I would say I am mildly satisfied with the result, but the whole experience was a nightmare. You should know that this orthodontist does no actual work himself. Most of the time, he is not even there. The technicians make crucial decisions and do all the work, and they often aren't sure of what to do. Once in a while the doctor comes by, pokes his finger in your mouth, and leaves. He signs off on nothing. They put a lot of extra devices on your teeth like coils and chain to move them faster, but your teeth should be slowly moved so they stay in place. The doctor also walks around making loud, sexist comments and talking about his vacations and going to see Taylor Swift in concert. Made me really uncomfortable. I was in so much pain and got no sympathy from the staff. Just take Tylenol and suck it up. Forget all the silly marketing stuff like wooden nickels. You won't get anything and it is a waste of time.
About Front Desk: Staff is pretty good, efficient and good at answering questions. There is a computer sign-in system.

Terrible service!!!1 Dr. dimassa seems unsure about what he originally told me would be an easy fix. I only need some space for two implants on the bottom and he seemed so confident that he can give me that but now he keeps saying we will try. I do not want to hear we will try after i paid $6,500 for my braces. I have the hardest time getting an appoitment as well. They seem to be closed often.

Dr DiMassa and his staff are excellent! My daughter and I are both patients with braces. He is always on time. I have never waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. His staff is amazingly sweet! It is a very clean and friendly place to get your ortho work done. Dr. DiMassa also has a fun reward system for the kids which always makes my 12 year old excited to get to her appointments. He is a 5 star doctor with a 5 star staff!

I do not like the fact that so many people are working on my child with the doctor no where to be found. It happens at every visit. Everyone is nice but - come on - shouldn't the doctor be doing the work! I will not go back with my other 2 children. There are other choices out there!

What a pleasure it is to work with the DiMassa folks at the Lakewood office! Here is a professional group of people that understand what makes kids nervous, how to set them at ease, how to be understanding and supportive, and keep the big picture in mind at all times.
I have been so very impressed with all the people at this office--if only all the folks in healthcare had this outlook on their work!!

We love Dr. DiMassa 2 of our 3 children are seeing him and the third will be soon. We see him in the Westlake office. I have to say that we have really loved him as a doctor, the staff there is amazing! The atmosphere is great and we would and have highly reccomended him to our friends. It is not the cheepest in the area but I think that you get what you pay for! They go out of their way not to do any unneccesary extractions or extra sets and are patient in letting the child (or adults) mouth do what it will do first and then treating the area. The billing department is excellent! We love the ladies that work there too! The chair side manners are top notch with everyone that we have seen there. The front desk is great! You sign yourself in at the laptop in the guest waiting room where there is a soothing fish tank and tv for the kids along with a board full of beautiful smiles created by Dr. DiMassa. This is a top notch facility with top notch service! You will not be disappointed!
