My daughter had her dental care done her when her dentist recommend Dr. McDonald to us. She has a severe over bite and he has been working to correct it. So far so good. It's not cheap but not overly proceed either. His staff and he is extremely professional, polite, and easy going. They worked with insurance and had several payment options. If your child needs an orthodontist I would definitely recommend him.

My three children have been treated (or being treated) by Dr. McDonald. Either one is great! We began with Dr. Terry (the dad) and mainly deal with Dr. John (the son) now. The office staff is well qualified and quite personable. There seems to be a large staff turnover recently with the dental assistants. It used to be great to see the same faces each time we had an appointment. Now they are practically all new faces.
My kids loved the video games when they were younger. Love the ice cream in the summer! The soft music makes a pleasant atmosphere.
Cost? Not sure if they are any more expensive than anyone else. My sister-in-law went there and the results are great. My oldest son's teeth are still great. Other two kids still in treatment.
