My children went to Dr. Strohecker and I'm now taking my grandchildren to Dr. Strohecker and Dr. Beckett. When I first brought my grandson to see the doctors, Dr. Beckett was the first one to see him. He was fearful, uncooperative, and scared to death of dentists. Dr. Beckett showed such patience that she immediately put him at ease. Another one of her attributes was the ability to explain the procedures that were taking place in a way that put his fears to rest. She also explained thoroughly to me the entire program for him that would be implemented. On every visit my grandson is more and more comfortable, and Dr. Beckett's mannerism remains as informative and non-threatening as in the beginning of treatment. My grandson's mouth is already 95% better and does not have the problems that he once had with his teeth. I am so pleased with this office that I plan to bring another one of my grandsons in for treatment starting this summer. This office is above and beyond any medical office I've ever experienced...very kid-friendly and most professional. It's so nice to know we have a place to go where the child is not fearful and intimitated. Thank you, Dr. Beckett and Dr. Strocker and their wonderful staff!

I think Dr. Beckett and her staff at the office is excellent. Where do I begin. The first consultation was very imformative. Dr. Beckett explained everything that was going to happen and the time frame it would take. She was correct on both.She has wonderful chair-side manners. Both of my children had braces and not one time did they complain when they had an appointment. She always took the time to talk to my children as young adults not only as patients. She followed my chidren's athletics and always congradulated them on their success.
What can I say about the front desk... They are terrific. They greet you with a smile EVERYTIME you walk in the door. They schedule your appointments perfectly. There is never more than a five minute wait. As for the cost. Braces are not cheap from anywhere. However, having no dental insurance they worked out a plan that would accomadate me. There were many many times when I was so far behind. Not once did they put pressure on me. They would tell me to pay what I could. Even if it was lower than my monthly payment should be.
The office is very clean. The decore is uplifting. And the gameroom is awesome. My son never wants to leave.
Overall, I would highly recomend Dr. Beckett to anyone.

We took my daughter to the orthodontist becasue her top teeth jutted out over the bottom too much.
For the initial visits she was seen by Dr. Strohecker, but we found out later that Dr. Beckett took over treatment, and we were not consulted about this change.
At the end of treatment, the jutting problem still exists, and it seems to us to be even more pronounced than when we started. If they couldn't fix the problem, they should have told us at the start.
We are taking my son to a different orthodontist.
