Used out of date methods. Had braces for four years with a great deal of pain. Later, my dentist realized I was allergic to the nickel in the braces. Despite a swollen mouth and contact dermatitis, Dr. Bishop did nothing. My teeth are now overlapping (they were tightened too much), and I have a lot of decalcification and cavities due to the gum swelling for those four years. During my school years, the only friends who were always in pain due to braces were Dr. Bishop's patients.

I'm 1/4 of the way through my treatment and have had nothing but great feelinfgs for Dr. Bishop! I'm 31 years old and just getting braces for the first time - it was a big thing for me and he's made me feel nothing but comfortable.

The orthodontist can be a painful place to go, but Dr. Bishop made it a great experience. Seeing him and his friendly staff once a month for about 3 years was amazing. I hate the dentist and fear it, but Dr. Bishop's office was always a good experience. The staff is so friendly and the office is always fun and enjoyable. I reccommend going to him whether you are 12 or 45, he's great. I went to about 4 other docs for consults and I chose him b/c he had the best plan for me. Every other doc wanted to pull a bunch of teeth b/c of overcrowding. Doc Bishop instead let my mouth mature and then decided only one tooth needed to be pulled and it was easy and not painful. He was GREAT!!

As a local dentist I must say he is the tops when it comes to ortho. I have not seen one failed or even borderline case from him. In my office all of my support staff have had ortho (many years ago) and I use them as examples of his work. I will be bringing my children to him when it is time.

Great with kids. Knows everyone personally and they make you feel good when you walk into the office by calling you by name
