He's a pleasant man with a good sense of humor. I chose him after consulting with 4 other orthodontists. I felt like he was knowledgeable and the right choice. After talking with him I felt like he wasn't just out to straighten my teeth, but also was basing his treatment on the results and outcome of my face and jaws.
I'm an adult and followed the care and instructions of my braces and treatment precisely. The braces are now off and my teeth are not straight, not even the front 4. My bite is off. I have a molar that is lower than the other teeth. I am very, very disappointed. I should demand that he fix it, but I would rather not return. I'll just find another ortho and try again.

He seems very laid-back, friendly, so with my preconceptions I thought he might not be so great (I thought dentists were unpleasant!) - but Dr. Sandusky did some great work on my kids' teeth. I'm going back for my younger child to have orthodontic treatment with Dr. Sandusky.
You have to go in and be sure to ask him if there's any concerns - but that's OK.
