I'd recommend going to a smaller practice somewhere else, where the orthodontist works with you himself on every visit, and has a personal stake in seeing you through to a good finish.

Every other single person in her staff is very capable, however, Agahi herself is distant, condescending, plans based on least personal effort, evades questions about those same plans, can execute an adjustment crudely yet never apologize or correct, prescribes powerchains to cover up poor bracket placement, and will drop you if you question or interfere with her procedures. Don't take vacations either, since like many practices they can simply drop you at the end of the scheduled period with no rebate for time away. This orthodontist is fine for uncomplex, routine work, since her staff is excellent and the other orthodontist there shares none of her faults, but for involved work, or for those who want a dialogue with their provider, I'd look elsewhere.

After consulting several orthodontists 6 year ago, we selected Dr. Agahi for my elder daughter based on the following reasons. 1) Unlike some other orthodontists, she said that no pulling teeth and no headgear would be applied in my daughter's case (The result proved she was right). 2) She took DMO insurance and did price matching. 3) She is nice and her facilities are super. After one and half year treatment, my daughter got her teeth fixed perfectly with much less pain. I have recommend Dr. Agahi to several of my frients. I'd like to see her again for my younger daughter.

amazing , very relaxing enviroment, loved how she always explains everything, works very well with my kids, just overall she is the best hands down.

This was a dream Ortho dentist! The staff is kind, thoughtful, and polite. The Dr. is a very funny lady and the staff just loves working for her. When my daughter had her braces taken off I had alerted the staff that my daughter did not like big fan fare. (a surprise they give with loud music). They understood and quietly took a picture of her and the Doc and we went on our way with sticky candy and a huge balloon! I recommend this good doctor to anyone that is thinking of having braces. Oh the kid's area is great. There is a playstation and two WII game consoles in a separate area. The office has laptops the waiting area to play on.

Knowledgable & customer-focused staff. Ortho staff awesome chair-side manners; top-of-the-class; well trained in Dr. A's philosophies & handling techniques. Extremely good with children. Office staff does everything they can to schedule around school & community functions. Billing understandable & fully explained. Every effort made to use insurance benefits fully. Always a smile and friendly greeting. Use of technology: outstanding. Waiting room-kid, tween & parent focused from coffee & laptops to video arcade. "Brushing Room" great idea since we do not come from home to the appt. Comfortable & beautiful, functional & friendly. Facility @ Lake Creek Pkwy outstanding! Highly recommended.

Love the office, everyone is friendly and professional. Total confidence in the staff. Great incentives to motivate kids to keep their teeth clean.
