Very unlike our previous Orthodontist experience Dr. Del Torro actually does the work himself. That means that the placing of the braces is in the hands of a doctor not a trained aid!! This is huge!
I feel so somfortable with his office. The staff is very kind and polite and accomodating. The office is located in a small little house which makes parking easy. No office building to navigate! Drive up service.

I have been a patient of Dr. Del Toro's for 3 years and I the only good thing I have to say about his practice is that his assistants are nice. Dr. Del Toro himself rushes through his work and acts as though he has better things to be doing, other than his job. Trying to order retainers with him is horrible. If the retainer doesn't fit correctly he simply tells you to "let it settle", even when the retainer barely fits into your mouth. I'm not an orthodontist or anything, but I don't think that your teeth are supposed to move to fit the retainer. I think the retainer is supposed to fit your teeth. Overall, my experience with his office has been stressful and I wish I had chosen another orthodontist. Although his work is supposed to have helped, I still feel self-conscious when I smile, because my teeth don't look as they should after 3 years with braces and 6 months of wearing my retainer 24/7.

Dr. Del Toro worked wonders on my son's teeth after a very bad baseball accident re-aligned at least 4 of his upper teeth. Dr. Del Toro was able to save them! he now is in his second set of braces. His teeth were noticeably out of alignment since the accident. It's only been 6 weeks and we can already see results from the braces. Just think what 18 months will do! I would highly recommend Dr. Del Toro and his staff to all in need of braces. His office manager(Sue) is wonderful to work with and is extremely helpful with reminders and help understanding the bill. If you have a choice, Dr. Del Toro is it!. I have an 11 yr old daughter that will also need braces. guess where she'll get them! Thanks to dr. Del Toro, my children's teeth will look and feel perfect. Regards, Kevin B. Austin, Texas

Dr. Del Toro and his staff have been wonderful - I have two children who go to him for orthodontics.

Dr Del Toro is working with my 13 year old daughter who has Down Syndrome. He gave us the impression plates to take home and practice with mash potatoes. Everything went well at the office after that, she cooperated well for the impressions and the bands. He does all of the work himself and doesn't overbook patients. He gives individual and private attention. He is very patient and kind and works well with individuals with disabilities. We wouldn't have done the orthodontic work if he wasn't so considerate and competent.

Dr. Del Toro has been my 12 yr old 's orthodontist for the past 1 and 1/2 years. He is wonderful! Extremely professional, communicates great with parents, and highly skilled. He also has a Ph.D. and teaches one day a week at the dental college in San Antonio. He came in after hours on a Friday to fix a broken wire that was sticking her (only happened once)...goes above & beyond for his patients. Great, friendly staff and unique office like an upscale log cabin. Dr. Del Toro is the best!!!
