I took my Jr High son to get braces. Being a teenager he was not pleased with having to have braces. I found Forrest through ads in our local paper, he seemed to be a popular Ortho, and was close so that my son didn't have to be gone from classes as often. The appointments for his adjustments were too far apart, so problems where not seen and addressed properly, which caused my son pain and more anxiety. I paid the braces off early (big mistake). Once the braces were off, once again appointments were set too far apart for adjustments and to address other problems. In the end my son didn't want to wear his retainer, and when I talked with Dr. Forrest about this, he said, "Well, his teeth will move back, I have already been paid, so it is up to him, if you want another retainer, that will be $150.00" I have a girlfriend whose son also went to Dr. Forrest, same problem. In the end, it was too soon to have braces put on my son, his back molars came in and pushed his teeth forward. Dr. Forrest should have told us to wait till they came in, but he was more interested in money, than his patient. I speak from experience, I had braces myself. My Ortho, RL Gallerano did all the right things. Go to Gallerano! Forrest just wants your $$
