We live in Pacific Palisades and have made the trip to Garden Grove over the years because Dr. Kunihiro is such a kind, patient, and great dentist (whose fees are reasonable and less than a Palisades or Santa Monica dentist would charge). Dr. Kunihiro is always upbeat and relaxed and answers all questions with as much detail as you require. I've taken my children in for their dental cleanings, and my daughter saw Dr. Kunihiro regularly for a crozat (a mouth appliance). My son has seen his colleague, Dr. Lew, for a root canal, and Dr. Lew is also a kind and patient dentist. The office staff is always friendly and welcoming, as is the hygienist. It's definitely worth the drive we make to see Dr. Kunihiro and Dr. Lew!

My kids love Dr. Kunihiro! He has a wonderful personality that puts the kids at ease and takes the fear out of going to the dentist. Trying to get an appointment at a decent time can be difficult - certain procedures are only done at certain times. But I would definitely recommend Dr. Kunihiro.

Dr. Kunihiro has treated all three of my children, he is very patient and relates to children totally on their level!
My son used to have panic attacks and Dr. Kunihiro has talked him through several appointments at my request. He always recommends what is best for the child.
Office staff is extremely considerate and appointment availability is very quick.

This story explains why Dr. Kunihiro is our family's dentist for life.
Our son knocked out two front teeth late on a Saturday night. Generally, teeth must be reinserted within 2 hours or the body rejects them. As the clock ran down we found out emergency room doctors will not reinsert teeth. We called every dentist and orthodontist our family had ever used but none were available. That is when we thought of Dr. Kunihiro, one of the fathers from our children's water polo team.
Dr. Kunihiro got out of bed after midnight and worked into the early Sunday morning hours to save our son's teeth. Root canals were completed the same week with very little discomfort and his smile has never looked better.
Dr. Kunihiro is our hero and the staff is amazing.

Dr. Kunihiro is a GREAT dentist, family man and community service helper. My child incurred an extremely dangerous medical condition in his upper jaw, and Dr. Kunihiro literally assisted myself and my son thoughout the entire diagnosis and treatment - all the way through till we ended up at USC Dental School!
His staff is kind, patient and competent. His practice and service is outstanding. He has been my children's dental caregiver for almost 10 years.
