The facilities are nice, but I wasn't happy with the results of a crown put on my child. Dr. Maria didn't want to hear my concerns that there was discoloration the gum and now that the baby tooth with the treatment on it is out, there is a permanent stain on the gum. The dentist didn't want to listen to parents' concerns and didn't want to admit any error on her part.

Dr. Maria has been my daughter's pediatric dentist since she was two. My daughter had a badly applied filling in her front tooth. Dr. Maria examined her and determined that the extensive decay on the tooth was due to a birth defect where the enamel never formed on that tooth. All her other teeth were healthy. This was so reassuring to us as we had been very good with oral hygene. My daughter had a root canal performed under general anesthesia. Our insurance refused to pay for the general anesthesia and wanted her to use a local anesthesia. Dr. Maria strongly advised against the use of a local anesthesia for a root canal in a two year old and we decided to pay for the general ourselves. Since then our now 5 yr old daughter has received regular check-ups and cleanings at the office. She looks forward to watching a video and choosing a toy at the end. All the staff have been warm, welcoming and very professional.
