Our first son is an existing patient and soon our second son will be a patient as well. Dr. Sumalee is incredibly patient and provides very helpful advice based on real world situations and not hypothetical textbook answers. She has a wonderful way of making children at ease in a dentist office as well as the nervous parents.
She has the most updated technically advanced equipment to make treatments quick and easy. Plus the TV's playing Disney animated movies really help distract the kids while they get their teeth cleaned. I'd recommend her 100%!

I took my 2 year old in for her first visit and Dr. Sansurasak was great with her. The office is amazing for litte ones and my daugher didn't want to leave.

We were in the area on vacation, when my 5 year old knocked out a front tooth. We went here on the recommendation of a friend, and could not have been happier. We got in on the day we called, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The dr. was wonderful, put my mind right at ease. My daughter was fine. The office was high tech. The only thing I didn't like was the small size of the rooms and hallways, but overall it was great. Would highly recommend.

Dr. Sumalee is wonderful and so is her staff. Everyone is friendly and gentle, and the office is very kid-friendly. My daughter loves going for her check ups and I feel extremely comfortable recommending Dr. Sumalee to friends.

She is the only Dentist who can calm my son enough so he will let her clean his teeth, etc. She is extremely patient and great with kids. I've been going to her for my son and daughter for 8 years now. After going to a different dentist under different insurance for a year, I switched back over and I now purposely keep the same dental insurance so I can keep going to her. Highly recommend her.

After wasting time and anxiety going to pediatric and "family" dentists in my area who were in Delta Dental's network, I finally went to Dr. Sangsurasak, who was recommended by our pediatrician. I was very worried about the diagnosis that the Delta Dental ped dentist gave me that my 12-month old had a cavity and that there was nothing he could do about it until she weighed enough for anesthesia so he could drill. Dr. Sangsurasak not only dispelled that misdiagnosis (all she had to do was scrape the tooth to find it wasn't a cavity), but also told me about options for treating it even if it were true. Apparently, the other ped dentist was only willing to offer options that Delta would pay him enough money to perform!
Dr. Sangsurasak's office does bill insurance for you, but they require payment upfront with a credit card, and the payment from Delta, which may be less than her charge, is sent to you. Still, our visit ended up costing us the same as going to the other dentist and paying the co-pay, so there was no advantage to staying within the Delta network! Everything the other reviews say about Dr. Sangurasak's gentle and empathetic handling of children is true, and her waiting and treatment rooms are unequaled for kids.

Great experience all around. My kids (ages 2.5 yr and 4.5 yr) *love* going to the dentist. No drama. No trauma. *Beautiful* office--very visually stimulating (designed like an under the sea haven), and tv's on the ceiling (where can I get one of those?). Very friendly staff--and very speedy, high-tech treatment. Wish adult dentist offices were like this! Highly recommend!

Wonderful dentist. Makes me wish I was a kid. This office is great. So distracting and fun for chlidren. My 3 year old daugher looks forward to going and talks about it for days afterwords. Never has there been one tear shed! Dr Sumalee has a wonderful way with children. She found her true calling. I just can't imagine what more I could want from a pediatric dentist. The wait time is very short (minutes) and we are in and out of there in a matter of 20-30 minutes. The parking is free and very accesable and the office is in a great pasadena location off of green street. My highest regards for this office and this dentist.

She is such a wonderful dentist. My kids love her. I even sent my fearful nieces to see her. Her fees are not cheap but well worth it.

Wonderful! Great with kids. My kids love going to her office. IT is very high tech w/videos over the chair. My son had two fillings and did great. She is pleasant and gentle.
