My kids are execited about going to the denist, even after my daughter had 4 cavaties and 2 teeth pulled. I can't believe it. I called 3 denists in my area and Dr. Yees prices were so low that I picked a different denist thinking he was cheap and therefore not good. The other denist made me feel really bad about the state of daughter teeth. I went to Dr. Yee for a second opinion and have never looked back. He loves the kids, he makes them feel comfortable, He takes his time with me to explain everything. His staff is amazing especially Laurel in the front office who even helped me with my insurance. The office is all decked out like a jungle, it even has a little toddler palyhouse and a WIi for the older kids. I can not say enough good things about this office. I have already reffered 3 people there.

Dr. James Yee is hands down the best pediatric dentist in town. He is right in the heart of the Valley at Victory and Tampa Aves. and people come from all over LA -- even Santa Monica -- to see him.

I have been going to Dr. Yee for years (started as a child, but he still lets me come in even though I am an adult). All of the staff our friendly and professional. Vidoes and games abound to keep the younger ones entertained.

This is the only pediatric dentist my children want to see. We tried switching briefly to one closer to our home and they begged to be brought back to Dr. Yee's office. The staff is extremely friendly and Dr. Yee has some kind of magical way of handling children. We've been extremely happy with his work.

After seeing several dentists over the last 10 years for my 4 children, I have been very happy with Dr. Yee's office. I am even willing to drive the distance to see him (from Burbank to Reseda)! He has been able to treat my younger son successfully with local anesthetics and gas. Two other dentists told me my son would have to be put out under general anesthetics ($$$$$!), because he wasn't able to sit still long enough for the treatment.
Dr. Yee has also been willing to take a watch and see attitude where possible. My older son had a small cavity in a baby tooth. Rather than fill it, Dr. Yee said he would watch it and if it didn't get bigger, we could just leave it until the tooth fell out on its own. That is exactly what happened. It saved me $, saved my son discomfort and he probably brushed better, 'cause he knew he'd have to get the tooth filled if it got worse!
The office staff is very friendly, and I've never had any problems with insurance. Oh, and one time, I came on the wrong date for an appointment and they just squeezed us in rather than make us come back.
I have been very happy with this office!

Dr Yee is very personable and hands on. He makes notes in the childrens file about their personality and what they have going on in their life. At their next appointment he refers to notes to talk to the kids. He's awesome! The staff explains everything to the children before they do it and let them handle some of the tools (like suction straw).

I have been going to Dr. Yee for years. His staff is incredible, everyone is nice, their work is perfection, and they could'nt treat their customers any nicer. Small children especially will have no trouble in his office as their are always video games and movies playing for entertainment and distraction. Dr. Yee is truly wonderful.

Dr Yee is the best kid doctor in town. The kids enjoy going to the denist. Wish my dentist offered Videos to watch :)

My two sons and my nephew are patients of Dr. Yee for years now. He is incredibly good with children, very professional and kind.
My 2 1/2 had fallen and hurt his front tooth, it was discolored and I was concerned about it needing a root canal. Dr Yee listened patiently, examined the tooth carefully and explanined every thing very thoroughly. He recomended we keep an eye on the tooth, and now one and a half years later the tooth looks great, there was no need to do anything even though the previous dentist had said that the tooth had to be pulled out!
My 4 1/2 needed two cavities filled, it was done painlessly, without any sedatives.
Dr Yee staff is incredible, very nice, very professional and understanding and will go the extra mile when you are in a jam!
Both my kids love going to the dentist. I highly recommend Dr Yee.
