I went to Dr. Yoshida when I was a kid, and now I'm taking my daughter. He's calm, communicative, and has great prizes for the kids! My treatments were always pain-free, but that wasn't the case for my sister, so it really depends what is needed. I have insurance, so not sure about prices. Bring your own toys--the waiting room is spare, but I definitely recommend him.

Dr. Ralph is simply THE BEST!!! He is so gentle with the kids, and amazingly fast! He always makes sure that he talks to the parents about what is going on. His staff is super nice as well, no attitudes at all. My son loves Dr. Ralph and so do I. It would take me moving very far away to get me to go elsewhere!

I have 2 children (3 and 5) and both have been to Dr. Brian Yoshida a couple of times.
1) The facility is not what I consider kid-friendly. There are some books and a game station in the waiting area, but not much else. Inside where treatments are done is not very impressive either. I've been to much kid-friendlier pediatric dentists that have tv screens on the ceiling and more toys/books in the waiting area.
2) Chair-side manner is ok. He's fairly patient, but I could tell he was getting a little impatient when my 2.5 year old was crying during a cleaning. (I expected the dentist to stop since it was my son's first time there.)
3) They give a toy and treat at the end, which my kids like.

Dr. Yoshida is awsome!! Whenever I have a problem with my teeth is is very nice and patient. He tells me what he's doing to my teeth so I know what's happening. Even when he has to perform dentist stuff that I don't particuarly like, he's very kind and makes me relax so i don't feel anything. He's a great dentist and I've been going to him ever since I was little..i am sixteen now

My children actually like going to the denist since we have been seeing Dr. Yoshida. My daughter has a lot of teeth concerns and Dr. Brian has been so patient in explaining all of the problems and how we can help her along. I have never met a nicer doctor. I would reccommend him to everyone.
