I have been taking my four children to Dr. Jones' office since moving to the Denver area in 2008. Dr. Jones is an amazing dentist. I can NOT say enough good about him!! My children all experienced multiple procedures including cleanings, exrays and fillings -- sometimes more than one at a time!
And yet my children were never afraid to come to Dr. Jones' office. He has such a gentle touch and a great way with kids. And parents! He always explains exactly what he's doing and what needs to be done. Dealing with kids, their losing and growing of teeth isn't easy! But he is like a director of an orchestra who never seems to get ruffled.
His staff is top notch as well! I have enjoyed interacting with every single one of them over the years! Professional, friendly and always smiling!
If you are looking for a dentist in the north Denver (we lived in Broomfield when we first started going to his practice) or Boulder, I highly recommend Dr. Jones! I wish I could give him more stars...but really!!

I just wanted to warm all mothers of Dr. Michael Jones, a local pediatric dentist. On the recommendation of my dentist I took my child in to have one tooth looked at. Dr Jones spent all of 3 minutes looking at in my son's mouth to look at a hypo-calcified tooth and explain to me in 3 minutes what that meant. When I left I was charged $130!!!! There was no cleaning, no fluoride, no x-rays other than a 3 minute exam. I foolishly paid the bill and left. After much consideration I called the office back and was told regardless of the situation, a $130 fee was always charged and return visits would be $65. When I voiced my dismay at this excessive charge and the dentist contacted nothing was done to reduce the fee.
I have since spent time calling around to other dentist offices and have found that their rates are lower than Dr. Jones. I also called my dentist back who said that yes, they had complaints about Dr. Jones' fees as well.
I was very happy to see the recommendations for Dr. Kott and after confirming that he charges a fair price I have booked an appointment with him.
If you choose to use Dr Jones (I hear he is quite good) be forewarned of his fees, because his office sure didn't do so.

Such a great dentist ! He is very gentle and patient with kids. He always explains everything thoroughly and gives options for treatments so parents can decide what they absolutely need immediately and what can wait. My kids love his office, lots of fun toys an games. Every one else from the front desk to the hygenists are very kind and caring. Good sense of humor too which is essential in dealing with anxious little patients. My kids haven't had have any major procedures apart from an extraction so couldn't really comment on success of treatment.
