When Dr. Maher viewed my sons teeth she never took an x-ray and couldn't see all of his teeth because he wouldn't open his mouth and kept crying. She kept smirking at him and told me that he needed root canals. I told her I wanted other dentists to view his teeth before any type of surgery's. She scheduled him to come back in three months. Two weeks ago she kept harassing my mother and myself insisting we get my 3 year old root canals even though he didn't have an x-ray performed still. I told her no and on Monday last week did not show to the appointment. She continuously called me at work asking why I did not show up and I told her it was because I found my son a new dentist. She then continued to ask me questions but I told her I had to go because I was at work. She became upset and reported me to Child Services because I didn't want service from her. Anyone who knows my son and myself know I keep his teeth absolutely clean, brush his teeth, floss and even use mouth wash! She was very unprofessional. I even spoke to a few locals in Delaware who know about her and they told me they wouldn't even send an animal to her! She's horrible with children and does not take no very well. Currently looking for a lawyer. My son is scarred.
