Dr. Cochran is fantastic with children and parents. He is very patient and never rushes through my questions. I am so happy to have found him. He was highly recommended by my pediatrician and is a wonderful dentist.

I was referred to Sr Stepehn Cochran from my son's peditrician. Dr Cochran is very gentle with children- soothing voice for children with bad nerves and just all around good dentist. My son loves the office staff and the environment and does not mind his 3-6 month check up. His first appt he was terrified but after the staff and Dr. Cochran spoke to him and eased his nerves, he looks forward to his dental cleanings, x-rays, flouride treatment.
I would highly recommend Dr. Cochran and his staff!!!

This is the BEST pediatric in Jacksonville. We visited 4 different pediatric dentists before settling with Dr. Cochran. He always takes time to explain to you in detail what is happening and what he recommends. He is not rushed, yet he is very efficient. My wife and I are both nurses and were very uncomfortable with other practices in the area that maintain the "doctor knows best" attitude. Dr. Cochran is the best dentist either of us have ever met. Their practice is busy because they are so good. I would say approx. 1/3 of our elementary school is seen by this practice, and they aren't even close... it's a 25 minute drive, but it's worth it.

This group of pediatric dentist is the BEST in Jacksonville. The fact that many of our area M.D.s both pediatric and adult send their children to this group says everything. If expertise and a kid-friendly environment is what you are looking for they are the group. The only draw back is book ahead. Because they are so good, you may wait 2 months for a check-up. However, if it is an emergency they will work you in.

Dr. Cochran himself is excellent - he puts my very nervous child at ease and she is now comfortable seeing him. However, some of the office staff tend to treat people like numbers though due to this being a very large practice. It is also somewhat difficult to get timely follow-up appointments due to the size of the practice, but they are good about putting you on the wait list and calling you for cancellation openings.

I have a severely handicapped child. Dr. Cochran is very caring and thorough. He greets my child and lets her know what is about to be done, and ask me of my concerns. The hygienist are very thorough and cheerful. Cheaning teeth on my child is a long procedure due to her cerebral palsy, chronic seizures, severe developmental delay. She has a lot of teeth staining, and tartar. Her first cleaning he did as outpatient at the local children's hospital. The rest have been in his office. Insurance is billed and in my case no up front payment is required. I am billed after insurance has gone through. There is an up front payment for the hospital cleaning, which is quit expensive.
