All about the money. Assumes you're as rich as she is, and issues orders for floride treatment, not covered by insurance. Also recommend tooth removal prematurely (my daugher's fell out naturallly) and ortho (at too young an age).

Dr. Oppenheim is the dentist of choice for my three children. She tries her best for them to have a positive dental visit by explaining what she is going to do, allows them to explore the dental equipment, she sings to them, gives them a goody bag when they leave, the staff is very friendly (except for 1), and explains to the parents the dental health conditions as well as a dental plan, if needed. She has also called in the evenings as a follow-up when procedures have been done.
I think she is great and have recommended many friends and family to her.

Dr. Oppenheim is fine but the office is overcrowded, hard to get appointments and has little time either after school or on weekends which obviously is best for children who attend school. They are very expensive and it appears that the cost reflects the high-rent neighborhood where the office is located.

Dr. Oppenheim is terrific. She is very good with extremely young children and great at explaining what's happening and why. A friend of mine was puked on by her daughter (not relating to treatment) while in the office. Dr. Oppenheim dug out an old t-shirt for her. Great office.
