Read Reviews for Dr. Gerald Weiner
I am a medical professional who used Dr. Gerald Weiner for about 10 years. The work that was done was very good with no complications, however, the doctor was always trying to sell me procedures to make money. I politely told him no. On my last visit with him he told me that I had a small cavity and that he could fill it right at that time. I had to be at a lunch appointment and declined to have the tooth filled. I felt suspicious because he wanted to fill the tooth at that appointment. I thought I'll get a separate opinion; the consulting dentist found no cavities. I emailed Dr. Weiner and said that I got a second opinion( no cavity ) and that I would not return. I should have filled a consumer compliant the the California Consumer Affairs Department against his license and practice. I would not recommend seeing this dentist at all costs!

Prepare for a crown- Dr. Weiner made sure I was most comfortable, explained each different procedure, noise and feeling to expect in advance, so no suruprises. Most professional, the staff is courteous and pleasant and I reccomend Dr. Weiner of RAnch SAn Diego to everyone for any dental work. The office is newly reconstructed. He also has new magazines instead of those that are years old if you have to wait a minute.

3 crowns, 2 root canals.
Very expensive, very painful, very unsatisfactory.
Initially I was assured I was getting the best service available and
the best available materials. When complications emerged
Dr Weiner became very argumentive and condescending
when I asked questions. He told me he would only discuss these
type of problems with other dentists and that he wasn't
responsible for the complications. (Two of the three crowns were
installed on teeth that needed root canals.) I now have two brand
new crowns that have been damaged and patched.
Avoid this dentist if you value your dental health.
