Great denists though very expensive. Everytime we go to the denist they want to sell us costly items (toothpaste etc)which are not covered by insurance, last time it was almost 1/3 of the bill.

She is excellent and makes the kids feel quite comfortable. Very informative about the procedures. Other members of the practice were also very helpful.

Our experiences with Dr. Simon, and her staff at North Shore Dentistry for Children have been nothing short of wonderful. As the father of 2 children, one with special needs, we have been very, very pleased with the care we have received.
The first thing one notices about this practice is the office itself. It is beautiful. The layout and design of the waiting area with its huge fishtank, kid's play area and private spaces are superb. The treatment rooms are super clean, private and comfortable with music, comforting color schemes, toys for kids to minimize the "fear factor" inherent in a child's dental visits and state of the art digital x-rays viewed on computer monitors!
The staff is friendly and professional. We always receive telephone reminders of our upcoming appointments the day before. They have been extremely helpful when it comes to emergency appointments, fitting us in when schedules are running tight, and being understanding when we have needed to change our appointments at the last minute!
Finally there is Dr. Simon. What a wonderful person. It is so obvious that she really cares about the children that she treats. She is kind, gentle and superbly skilled in dealing with kids.

Failed to adequately prepare child psychologically for treatment--ended up screaming on nitrous oxide, but Dr. continued working until the whole side was finished (3 fillings when could have stopped after 1st when child began screaming). Snapped at me when I tried to help calm child down. Child had 0 problems 6 months ago, then 6 cavities this time, so we were given a special rinse. Why no rinse the time before? Did these problems come with absolutely no warning in just 6 months? Unlikely. We have always felt that dealing with the inherent rudeness of this office was the price of good care; now we see that even the care is substandard. STAY AWAY.
