For a pediatric dentist, I do not think Dr. Kenney, or Dr. Blau are very supportive or sympathetic to their patients' fears, nor of those of the parents. The staff members are kind, but may not be the best at treating the pediatric population.
My child had a lot of anxiety and became quite physical in the chair. They kept telling him to "relax" and pushed him back in the chair. He was screaming!!! It was very upsetting to me as well. He was finally given nitrous oxide (at a second visit) so that the proceure could be completed.
Overall, I am not satisfied with how my child was treated and am currently seeking other options for pediatric dentists.In addition, my 4 year old child was given white fillings! Why? I do not know. He will lose those teeth in a few years. Meanwhile, I have to pay the difference because the insurance does not cover this. I am angry, as I was never given the option for a silver filling, an now have a large dental bill!
