Dr. Kane Sr. and Dr. Kane Jr. have treated all three of my children. We primarily see Dr. Kane Jr. now. Both are personable, competent orthodontists. Two of my children have completed treatment and look fabulous. When my oldest was under stress and ground through her retainer, they replaced it and have monitored her since then. My son did well with his treatment. My youngest is in them now, and the new Damon System braces are doing a fabulous job. I miss seeing Dr. Kane Sr., but Jr. is very capable of completing their care. The new associate is very nice as well, just a little more quiet then the Kanes. They are all responsive to questions, concerns. They do hold my children accountable for keeping the appliances clean and well-maintained and for following diet restrictions, etc. to protect the work being done. I am very pleased with the care my children have received. They have always been open and honest and straight-forward about the care they are going to provide, and what our responsibilities were going to be in the process. My children had early phase appliance, then braces, or just braces, both followed with retention; third has Damon System and will follow with retention.

dr.kane himself is a friendly personable man but his office is too busy,he himself barely sees the patient, he saw them when they first had the braces put on and when they were removed,and then thru the years he would maybe be there to peek in their mouths to see the progress maybe 5 times in the 5 to 6 years.. my childrens braces were not glued on correctly and after them being left on for years, when they were removed their teeth enamal was discolored. I was then told by one of his dentist on the day of removal"oh well they can get veneers.at 1,000 dollars a tooth! it was a disgrace .we were made to feel like it was our fault,when in fact after seeing a specialist in orthodontry we were told we had been given shoddy dental care. also his dentist when seeing them for fillings ,you were given a differnt dentist everytime, you had to reexplain problems over and over.you could request the same dentist but the better ones were usually filled and there was no garentee that you'd see the same dentist anyway. overall very bad dentistry.
