Read Reviews for Dr. Michael Sheff
A top notch old style dentist who takes great interest in the well being of his patients. The emphasis is on caring for patients, not making the place look like a spa and charging top dollar. How can anyone not like Dr Sheff?

Office is nasty.
only thing pediatric about it is there are a few toys in the waiting room.
dentist was rude. he wouldn't even look at my son's teeth. he said he was "too busy".
2 exam chairs in one room.
so my son had to sit next to a guy gettting work done to his teeth.
very uncomfortable.
don't go here.
i don't know who would put a good review on here. i am guessing the dentist himself. check ohter sites.. he gets 1 star from other poeple.

Dr. Sheff is an extremely knowledgable and gentle dentist. He is outstanding with kids, and easily coaxed my reluctant son to enter the room and sit down in the dental chair. Dr. Sheff has a wonderful way with children. He made my son feel very comfortable. He talks to the child and tells them exactly what he is going to do, and yet he is so skillful he is able to accomplish a lot (ie. drilling, fillings) relatively quickly and painlessly. The child doesn't even realize just how much dental work he had done! Dr. Sheff also has impressive experience teaching dentistry as well.

I have taken my two girls (now 16 and 13) to Dr. Sheff for 11 years, and I have been extremely pleased with the experience. Dr. Sheff is courteous, kind, skillful, respectful and straightforward. It's easy to get appointments and the work is terrific. He specializes in pediatric dentistry and dentistry for disabled persons. Although my girls are not disabled, they have enjoyed and benefitted from encountering the range of patients in the waiting room, and they always feel confident that if Dr. Sheff can deal well with such diverse patients, he will be very skilled and gentle handling them. They really love their dentist. A fine collection of toys and magazines in the basically-furnished waiting room as well.

Brought my 3-year-old there once. The conduct of the staff was fine---appropriate for kids. However, the facilities were dingy and tired---unappealing for kids.

I have been going to Dr. Sheff for almost 12 years. He is like no other dentist (or any M.D.) I have ever encountered....and I have been to many. He takes a personal interest in his patients, his tecnique is tops, as close to painless as you'll find. He has a smooth, laid-back demenor that is perfect for nervous (and crazy) patients. His staff is really nice and friendly. The waiting room is classic cozy 1970s/80s vintage. All the work he has done on me has held up well even with my grinding problems. Signed T.A.
