My son used to see him. We have since found a different, better dentist.
We got Nickman after a different dentist at that office left to join another practice. Dr. Nickman was a horrible listener. Tried to pressure us into letting him do procedures we had told him my son would be seeing an orthodontist for. His hygenists were mean! It's a pediatric practice and they were making fun of my son for being scared. Said he was a baby since a younger child sitting across the room wasn't scared...
The practice is set up in a big room - no privacy for kids who need that.

We would recommend Dr. Nickman to anyone! We have a son with Autism, and Dr. Nickman is the only dentist, (and the only Pediatric Dentist!) who has been able to get our son to even open his mouth!
He has been gentle, kind, and very accommodating to any requests that we have.
When our son needed teeth pulled, he arranged to come to the hospital and perform the surgery under general anesthesia, which was so much easier for our scared little boy.
The staff is the best, and they love kids, which is not something you always find in typical dentist offices.

Dr. Nickman is thorough and professional while putting the kids at ease with a very genial nature. He is very approachable and informative with both the kids and parents. My daughter visits Dr. Nickman with no fear of the outcome.
