My granddaughter is two and had her first dentist checkup yesterday. Dr. Rulnick and staff were exceptional. They took the time to acquaint my grandaughter with the dentist chair and the other instruments that the hygenist and doctor use. After that, he was able to do a quick yet thorough exam. He gave my daughter a list of nutritional recommendations as well as a healthcare plan for my granddaughter's future dental needs.
My daughter was a patient of Dr. Rulnick between the ages of 2 and 18. She has the most perfect teeth, never had braces, never had cavities. She knows a good thing from experience and that's why she has returned to Dr. Rulnick with her daughter.
And yes, I would highly recommend Dr. Rulnick!
About Front Desk: Dr. Rulnick's staff are exceptionally kind, patient and helpful. I have only one complaint and that is the person that schedules appointments can be quite rude and abrupt. It was like I ruined her day by calling.

I also don't agree with the first reviewer. I have a special needs child that was rejected at another dentist office for being "to handicapped." Dr. Rulnick was a lifesaver. My daughter hates anything in her mouth and isn't cooperative during visits, but he is nothing but patient and kind. I also take my oldest and my nephew there and would never use anyone else. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. I drive 45 minutes just to use this dentist, which speaks to how good he is.

Have to respectfully disagree with the earlier review. Dr. Rulnick has been THE BEST dentist for my 2 sons for the past 5 years. He's patient, compassionate, thorough, thoughtful and always professional. My older son needed extensive dental work and every other dentist I consulted always opted the easy route of anesthesia. I was reluctant to put a 6 year old under for dental work and Dr. Rulnick agreed. He patiently treated my son over many sessions - knowing when to quit and when to press on and complete a procedure. We've changed insurance two times and both times, Dr. Rulnick has joined the network so we're covered. My younger son refused to sit in the chair for his first exam so he sat on the floor and Dr. Rulnick crawled down there with him to 'count his teeth'. Highly recommend Dr. Rulnick. We drive 45 minutes to see him - worth every mile.

I had the worst experience with this doctor. He had to treat my child for several reasons, my child has anxiety problems when it comes to the dentist. This dentist office is supposed to be a friendly environment for kids. Dr.Rulnick has had problems with my child in the past with my son resisting .(so i don't understand whay the problem was on that day) My child is only 8 years old he is a small freightened kid. He always has been. Well this dentist calls my son WILD!!!! first of all my son is not a animal!!! second his assistance is eyeballing giving me and my 8 yr old attitudes. dr rulnick grabs my sons and pushes him on the chair .thats what u call a good dentist? Where is the patience and friendly enviroment they say? then one of the ladies trys to hand my son something hes upset so he doesnt reach for it so she gets mad and throws the thing!! whos does that? Then doctor rulnick preceeds to tell me good luck finding someone that will treat ur child! I am never ever going to that place again! they didn't act professional towards us. Its an office for kids dentistry for kids. and they sure don't act like it. i wouldn't recommend this dentist to nobody!!
