you have to be prepared to wait 2 months before you can see this doctor. When you see the doctor, if you were allocated 15 minutes, she will never spend 16 minutes on you.

Great manner; My son (5 year old) loves to go to the dentist because of Dr Ioanna. She (and all the office staff) are really welcoming and friendly. All kids get to choose a toy or two (oriental trading like) which my son just loves. They also always get a toothbrush, floss and the sunglasses they wear for the exam so the light doesn't get in their eyes.
The office has a free old fashioned Pacman game consol and kids books in the waiting room. the decor is old fashioned but clean.
The office never bills up front - they send everything off to the insurance and only bill the net. Generally we haven't needed to pay anything - however my son had a filing earlier this year, so his second floride treatment this year, cost us $19.00

We had taken my son to see the doctor once and it was a general cleaning. I don't have any complain about it.
However the second time came, I was delayed for 18 minutes due to something unexpected happened at work. Then at the office, we were refused to see the doctor despite my begging. (I took off half a day just to take him to the dentist.) They even rejected us to see the doctor when I agreed to wait a few hours ! So I made another appointment with them a month later. The most disgusting thing that they did to us was that they changed my appointment date to next month and pretended to leave me a message to "Confirm" about the appointment date !!
I can understand sometimes doctor need to change schedule due to emergency. But instead of apologizing to patient and ask them to reschedule, they sneakily change patient's schedule to next month. I am fed up with them!

Dr. Joanna is amazing. My daughter looks forward to going to the dentist. She is a top notch dentist who is not arrogant or full of herself. She has helped our family navigate the world of orthodonture and is always willing to explain things in an honest and clear way, always with a good sense of humor. Everyone in the office is a pleasure to deal with. We recommend Dr. Joanna wholeheartedly!

Dr. Joanna (as she is known by her patients) is amazing. Our child was terrified of dentists and has a sensitive mouth. Our beloved family dentist wholeheartedly recommended Dr. Joanna with complete confidence that going to the dentist would no longer be a problem. When our daughter knows she has an appointment she is happy to go. Dr. Joanna is so warm, caring and funny. She is also extremely bright, knowledgeable, honest, thorough, easy to communicate with. She cares deeply about her patients and always takes the time to answer questions completely. The office staff and nurses are very pleasant and friendly. Also, I noticed that she is in Brooklyn but we see her at her Manhattan office.
