I was recommended to Dr Lefebvre by a long time friend. And now I gladly recommend him with highest praise. He seems to be up to date on all the latest technology and is very concerned for the patients comfort in and out of the chair. I had lost an old filling (which broke off more of the molar) almost a year before I got to the dentist* - I had no discomfort. The gum had grown over part of the broken tooth. Dr Lefebvre was not sure how much work would need to be done to prep the area for a crown. He makes the crowns while you are in the chair. No waiting 2 weeks and going thru the Novocaine again. The fit is excellent. He was so patient in getting the fit perfect. The dr. himself called me later that evening to check on my recovery. I had no pain -- even his Novocaine injection is done so well, not even a pinch! YEAH! -- only minor discomfort. I took 2 ibuprofen when I got home, did some gardening, and laid down to rest. No pain, no discomfort that night nor the next day. All is well. The fit is perfect.
*I had recently moved to Encinitas, needed a new dentist and then there was a family health emergency that took us away for several months is why I had not gone to the dentist.
About Hygienist: I don't see the hygienist until this week. I want to share that I overheard her with two children, three and about eight. (I was waiting for my new crown to cook.) Both she and the doctor were wonderful with those children.Very interactive and as it was the little girls first visit great concern to make it fun gentle and not too much!! I was so impressed.

Dr. Le Febvre has been my dentist or close to 13 years. He has done many procedures for me, including 100% porcelian on lays, to beautiful crowns. I even have a couple of white composite fillings that have lasted over 10 years. Soon, Ill be having an implant, and He will be helping me with that, as well. Dr. Mike is a wonderful dentist, very clear in explaining things & efficient. He has state of the art equipment, that makes the visit much nicer, movies to watch, or music of your choice to listen to. He is also very skilled at giving shots & they don't hurt.. He also uses a laser for certain things with no pain & quick healing. I would recommend Dr. Lefebvre to anyone. He's the best!

This dentist office is unethical. They took over for my previous dentist and did not tell me they did not take my insurance (Principal)- even after I gave them my card.
It took over 1.5 hours just to have my teeth cleaned and that did not include an exam by the dentist.
I had one off my fillings fall out 1 week after the hygentist did my teeth. I went to another dentist to get it fixed.
The front desk staff is rude. I do not recommend this dental office.
