Read Reviews for Dr. Jim Rhee
I had root canals, crowns, composites, surgical extractions etc. done by DR Rhee ~ I choked on water every time and when he hurt me on accident he would infer that it was my fault or just say nothing at all.
I had to say good bye to my former D.D.s because of insurance changes.
So that's when I began to see Dr. Jim Rhee for the next 2 years. I should have stopped seeing him much sooner..
...but I thought he must be in the right, he's the Dr.....
Over time to many negatives kept adding up and I finally left.
Now I have a new dentist that I think is great. )))

Dr Rhee did a crown for me. He had great chair-side manners, there was really no pain and he worked quickly. The crown fit perfectly. I am usually very nervous at the dentist but this was the easiest least painful procedure I have ever had done.

When my former dentist closed his practise in the 1990's I searched for another dentist - and visited MANY. When we found Dr. Rhee in 2006, my search ended. He and his staff are friendly and competent. The office is state-of- the-art and clean. I don't have to wait long when I arrive, he listens to what I say and makes reasonable recommendations - not absurd, expensive treatments and he takes our insurance. I trust him for myself and my family and would recommend him to others.

Dr. Rhee and his staff are plesant enough. He doesn't have an hygienist so he does the cleanings and always seems a bit rushed. The billing is confusing, you don't receive an itemized bill that lets you know what your being charged for and what your insurance paid. I think Dr. Rhee is a skilled dentist but he is very rough. He needs a more gentle touch.

After receiving 2 crowns in 12/06 my bite was poor. Dr Rhee said he would replace one crown at his cost. I have gone back 3 times to receive the permanent crown replacement. All 3 have been short!

He did a really good job on my fillings and my 8 year old son was comfortable in his care.

Mixed review...we met Dr Rhee when my child needed a cleaning. We waited for 30 minutes after our early morning appointment time with nothing to do (no books, mags, or anything). Once inside the bland office (i.e., no pictures or tvs), Dr. Rhee was courtious, seemed to know what he was doing but not overly friendly. The dental hygenist who never introduced herself then proceeded to try to take my child's xrays. After 4 gagging attempts she finally stopped. The "polishing" (no cleaning/scrapping) was then difficult as my son kept complaining that it hurt but she continued saying "it's ok baby" & "this is what we have to do to get them clean" while I assisted by suctioning out my child's mouth. This is not my child's 1st visit to a dentist and my child has not had a negative experience before. I've been told from others that they had good visits but I'm going to look for a different dentist who is more kid friendly.
