We've been going to Dr. Debbie for 5 years. The office is totally geared towards children from the waiting room to the kid sized dental exam seating. The atmosphere is relaxed and caring. We now use Dr. Sara, the orthodontist who shares the office and we couldnt be happier.

I brought my 5 year old daughter who had intense "Dentist phobia" to Dr.Gries. After talking to a very pleasant dental assistant, Sara agreed to sit in a dentist chair and even opened her mouth a bit. When Dr.Debbie came and talked to Sara in her wonderful comforting manner, my daughter allowed the dentist to examine her mouth.Of course, as luck would have it, Sara needed to have 3 fillings that day. Miraculously, she let Dr.Debbie do it without any fuss at all!!!
Since that day, i became a Dr.Debbie's convert. Even though her office decor could be improved on, her professionalism and that of her staff make every visit a pleasant one.The front desk staff is knowledgable, hygenists are personable and patient and they all are very good with kids. I now have 2 children who are Dr.Debbie'spatients and they both are looking forward to their visits! Dr.Debbie has a wonderful calming personality and is very good at what she does.She never is alarmed or panicked and spends ample time with her patients.She always answered my questions even if they were silly or repetitive. The cost of Dr.Gries services is reasonable and they do take multitude of insurance plans, even the ones that some dentists choose to skip, such as DC 37.

After trying almost every pediatric dentist on staten island, i finally found dr. debbie. she was friendly, loving, caring, kind, and the most sincere dentist i ever delt with. her expertise is unsurpassed. she was quick and painless with sheer perfection. my daughter started with her at 10 months. she needed extensive dental work and dr. debbie was absolutely excellent. i highly recommend her for any pediatric procedure.
