Read Reviews for Dr. George Bentz
While looking up the phone # for a school form I was shocked to see the bad reviews for Dr. Bentz. We have been going to him for about 10 years now. Two kids now ages 17 and 15. I had a stubborn daughter who wouldn't behave for our dentist so he recommended Dr. Bentz. It was a battle of the wills (which is usually the case) and it was very emotional and I even cried but it had to do with our daughter submitting to the authority of the dentist and he made every choice hers. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
About Front Desk: Again, the staff has always been helpful, friendly and no problems. I have to say an assistant one time was rough and the kids didn't like her but that is my only complaint. And she isn't there anymore.

I would not recomend as a peds dentist. not kid friendly at all. waiting room is horrible and the staff as well except for one hygentist who was AWESOME. First visit will be our last, going back to dentistry for kids.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor that is supposedly good with kids! He is TERRIBLE with children. He ridiculed not only my 7 year old daughter but also my parenting abilities. He is a total a%#hole and I would not take any child there if he was the last dentist on earth!!!

Not at all what I would expect from a pediatric dentist. The waiting room is not kid friendly at all. Had mundane pictures of his trip to europe posted all over the place - like kids care about that!
The hygenist was incredibly insensitive and insulted my 4 year old daughter. The poor child was afraid of the dentist and nervous - the hygenist tried to reason with a 4 year old as though she was a 14 year. Then insulted her calling her silly for being frightened for something she didn't know anything about!!! Guess what? Four year olds are commonly afraid of new things. I would have thought that they would have had more creative/fun ways to try to get her to work with them. I finally had enough of the insults and being talked down to so we left without my daughter even opening her mouth. They then billed my insurance for an exam - when THEY DID NOTHING.
I AM A PHYSICIAN - I did not reveal this to them because I typically don't expect any different treatment than others - but their treatment is clearly below the standards that I would expect from a practice that advertises themselves as pediatric dentistry. I've since talked to others who are less than thrilled with this practice. Stay away.
