This doctor and his staff are trained to convince you that you have TMJ and they will tell you that your medical insurance will pay for treatment and your dental insurance will cover the remainder of the cost. But, please don't sign documents or take a mouth guard or they will sue you and they will also tell you that your medical ins will not pay. Stay away from this so called dentist...

I was referred to Dr. Nissler by another dentist due to my on-going issues with TMJ. From day one Dr. Nissler brought me additional relief from my clenching - and his general dentistry skills were likewise terrific. I was so pleased with the care and treatment I received that I never returned to my original (referring) dentist, and in fact have brought several family members over to Dr. Nissler as well.
I list the treatment success as "good" and not "complete success" only because I'm forever going to need to wear a TMJ splint, not because the work wasn't exceptional.
The front office staff have been with Dr. Nissler long term and are friendly and knowledgeable. They process insurance paperwork immediately, and I've never had any problems with scheduling or billing.
About Hygienist: Carol is the hygienist I see at Dr. Nissler's office, though I believe there are two that work there. Carol is friendly and performs a very thorough dental exam - the most thorough I've ever received by far. She is gentle and efficient in her work.

Dr. Nissler has been my dentist for over a decade. His technical skills are second to none. His interpersonal skills are excellent. A physical therapist called him the dentist for people who hate dentists! He has fixed my TMJ issues, filled cavities and made crowns. I would recommend him highly!
