he is a very careful dentist, always thoroughly checks gums, etc during an exam; he has fixed a number of cavities for me and my wife and kids. He takes most dental plans and is reasonable. He is on Ventura Blvd. and his offices are nice.
About Hygienist: always great.

When I had a front crown become loose I went to dentists at a well-known dental school. I was told by several of their teaching dentists that I needed extensive work to re-do the entire crown which would require multiple visits over months. This seemed very extreme (and costly) to me so I went to Dr. Weiner for a second opinion. He told me that if I avoided biting into apples and cut my corn off the cob he could re-attach the crown and it could last several years. He did this simple procedure in one short, inexpensive visit and the crown lasted over 9 more years! Dr. Weiner does not push procedures or treatments, but gives very practical advice and solid dental care. This is a warm and welcoming dental office with a wonderful staff. They treat patients almost like family. His facilities may not be posh but the dental work and customer service is 5 star. Dr. Weiner is hands down the best dentist I've ever encountered.
About Hygienist: Hygienists -- I've had two (whose names I forget (!)) over the years but both were excellent, thorough, gentle but firm in their advice. One of them taught me how to floss effectively and no other hygeniest had or has since been as detailed in their explanation. She showed me exactly why it was so crucial and I credit her for turning me into a daily flosser.

I have been going to Dr. Weiner for over 30 years and I will continue to go to him until he closes. He is the only dentist that will ever care for my two children. He is honest, caring and truthful. I have never felt as if he was over charging or recommending unneeded services. He works magic with children settling any fears they may have. My children and I have never had a negative experience in all the time we have been going.

Dr. Weiner is by far the best dentist I have ever been treated by. I travel over 50 miles to get treated by Dr. Weiner and I would travel another 50 if I had to! Dr. Weiner and his staff have made the entire dental experience pleasureable, whether I have an appointment for a teeth cleaning, filling, or root canal, which was totally painless!
