In my opinion, Dr. Matthews is the best Pediatric dentist in Houston. He keeps up with technology and offers pain free solutions when possible. My kids adore him. I only wish he saw adults. I am envious of my children !

Both of my kids, who are now 14 years and 10 years old, have been going to Dr. Matthews since they got their first teeth. The ladies in the office are really sweet and kind. Dr. Matthews is great with kids and with explaining everything to the parents. This is definately a Kid-Friendly environment. They try to make the kids comfortable and relaxed. If your child has any anxiety whatsoever in going to the dentist, you should try Dr. Matthews. He also has great Valentine's Skating Parties and Halloween parties that he invites all of his patients to. My kids always looked forward to those when they were younger.

Dr. Matthews is an excellent dentist. He even saved my son's front tooth after a buckle fracture!! After seeing the Xray myself, I thought we would definitely lose my son's tooth. Dr. Matthews came in after hours, stiched it back in place, and after a few weeks, the tooth turned from gray to white again!! It was a baby tooth and my son kept it for another 3 years.
Also, his office staff is surprisingly efficient. I have never had a long wait. The dental hygenists are gentle and nice, and my kids actually like going to the dentist. They always give free balloons to the kids, along with other goodies.
I couldn't have asked for a better dentist for my kids.
