Dr. Barbara Moon is the absolute best children's dentist ever!
She treats the children with respect and dignity. She really listens to them as well as their parents. Her caring and nurturing spirit shine through all her work.. My daughter has been seeing her since she was 2 years old and is very sad at the thought of leaving her next year.

My two sons are 5 years old and 10 years old. We started going to Dr. Moon after a horrible experience with another dentist. My son was 2 and had a cavity in his front tooth and the other dentist would not allow my husband or I to be in the room with him. He left that office with out treatment and would never go back. Dr. Moon was very respectful of our sons feelings and made him feel at home in the chair! I have NEVER had a problem since!

I have 3 children and none are ever scared to see the dentist. They look forward to seeing her and have so much trust in whatever she does. She has had to pull my 5yr old's bottom teeth, no problem. She has had to work on a cavity on my 10yr old son, again no problem. She has a GREAT way with the children. Her staff is top notch as well. They know you by name and are always eager to assist your needs. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr, Moon and her family of dentists.

When my oldest son decided to jump off a slide at the age of three and lost his two front teeth, I had to located a pediatric dentist. I looked in the yellow pages, and there I saw Dr. Barbara Moon, I was happy because I was looking for a female dentist. I have never regret my chose. Through the pain he was suffering, my son walked out the office smiling. This was 23 years ago. Because the oldest son was not afraid to go to the dentist, my youngest son never had any fear. They actually enjoyed going to get their teeth clean. I know this was all due to Dr. Moon. Since the boys had such good experience, my husband and I started coming to the office for adult cleaning. Now, the whole family goes.

My 3 children have been going to Dr. Moon their whole lives. My oldest is 9. She is great with children. They actually have fun at the dentist. My son has had to have a little work done other than the standard cleaning and he never complained. She is great and I would recommend her to anyone!

Excellent dentist for young kids. She is very good! The facilities are bad and the staff isnt too friendly but I still take my kids to her for treatment because she is so good with them.

I have been a patient of Dr. Moon since I was a baby which was 21 years ago. She has a great personality which puts children at ease. She has cute little names for her cleaning tools to ease children and at the end of the visit gives you stickers and a coin to get a small toy out of a toy dispenser in her office. I have always been happy with with Dr. Moon's office from her personality, to office itself and the staff's helpfulness. You can tell she is an amazing doctor when you enter the office near the medical center and see walls covered with her patients from over the years. I would highly suggest Dr. Moon to anyone. Luckily for me, her husband is also a dentist to I have slowly made the switch over to seeing him since I am now getting to big for baby toothbrushes. He is also a great dentist and just as nice as her. All around great family practice!
I cannot specifically say towards price since as a child my parents went with me and covered the bill and now I go through insurance. I am sure they are reasonable or better with insurance.

Dr. Moon is unbelievably good. Her bedside manner is GREAT with the kids. The real test came when my 7 year old girl had to have two baby teeth pulled to make room for her adult teeth. I swear that kid never even knew it happen until she looked in the mirror. Literally never knew what happened.

After an unhappy experience with a dentist we weren't comfortable with, we found Dr. Moon. She's wonderful.
We drive across town to see her and it's worth it. My daughter loves her and looks forward to going to see her. We've been seeing her for 10 years now. Parents are welcome into the office along with their children during the visit and Dr. Moon makes both feel happy to be there. She explains everything clearly and takes a genuine interest in her patients.
My daughter has had a cavity filled and teeth pulled, and STILL loves going to the dentist!

Dr. Moon is a godsend after negative experiences with two other pedodontists. She establishes a relationship with the child so they feel comfortable. Some dentists don't want the parents to sit with their children, but not Dr. Moon! She also has sunglasses for the kids and talks to them on their level. She even makes the parents feel at ease. The kids get coins to use in a toy machine after their work is done. She's as good as you can get for a children's dentist!
