Read Reviews for Dr. David Taylor
I will never ever .... EVER go back. First of all theirs a deposit of $230 to hold meds for procedures. Second if you miss an appt for any reason they keep your money. The receptionist's told me one thing then turned around the next visit and tried to steal my deposit. I'm currently putting in a review/complaint with that place. their shady and I will not recommend them to anyone

Dr. Taylor has been my son's dentist from 12 months until his 5th birthday. The office is an older building, but has a nice children's play area inside by the exam chair. Dr. Taylor is kind, and there are usually two or three staff assigned to my child during his visit. Recently I have been concerned by his reluctance to schedule a first visit with my 20 month old daughter (contrary to AAPD recommendation for a first visit by the first birthday). I also felt he brushed off my interest in doing sealants on my son's teeth. My son is going to need to have a cavity filled and I am concerned because this office does not offer nitrous oxide or sedatives for this type of procedure, and my son tends to become very anxious when he knows he is going to get a shot.

I have to say, his dental work is good. His staff sucks. They difinitely don't know how to handle patients when it comes to a measley 250.00 over charge on their part. So he has lost 3 of his patients that have been going to him since they had teeth all over 250.00. Be aware of the over charges and don't let them get over on you. The girls working the office are extremely scatter brained and one second will tell you it is all covered and the next second send you bills. One of my son's had just a regular check up that is supposed to be covered 100%. Instead, they charged me $100.00. Never had in the past and are not willing to correct it. Hope this isn't happening to all your patients. You will go out of business soon. Dr. Taylor I suggest you get a grip on your staff. The Pena's!

Dr. Taylor's staff has helped me tremendously!! I have had to fight with my insurance company because they believe that a SEVEN year old should be seen my a general dentist ... what a CROCK! Anyway, the staff and the Dr. assisted me as much as they can to get my son's teeth fixed! They are a blessing! My son had extensive work done and never felt a thing!

Recently, I took my son to Dr. Taylor for a cavity filling. He does not allow parents to come into the treatment area. My son came out upset and asked not to have to came back there anymore.scared of Dr. Taylor. I was in the waiting room the whole time and no one came out to update me or let me know that my child was having a hard time. The waiting area is uncomfortable and is not welcoming to children. We will never go back.

As a toddler, my daughter was filled with anxiety at our family dentist, so they referred us to Dr. Taylor. All that changed for her once we started seeing Dr. Taylor. He is very gentle with the kids, and the set-up they have is very kid-friendly and fun... the video games in the "living room" next to the dental chairs make it very "un-dentist"! I wish they had that for adults!

The office is extremely outdated! My child was freightened by the old furnishings, mildewy smell, and lack of entertaining distractions before and during the appointment.
My recommendation? Look for another pediatric dentist.

Doctor has a no parent rule. My daughter was only 3 when I brought her and it was traumatic for both of us. She apparently got scared and cried loudly - I couldn't hear her at all in the waiting room. I found the staff to be condescending to me (parent) explaining how to brush teeth. my daughter didn't have any cavities so it wasn't like we weren't doing a good job. They should have been telling her not me. clearly we won't be going back there.
