We have had terrible experiences with dentists up until finding Dr. Avent and Dr. Huey. When our family dentist referred us to Dr. Huey, we decided to change dental insurance in order to get coverage for pediatric dentistry. My children no longer have fears about going to the dentist. We gladly drive from another city in order to bring our children into Dr. Avent and Huey's office. They are the best pediatric dentists in town bar none.

When we moved to the area we took my 4 year old son to our dentist. He didn't like dentist and/or the atmosphere. She recommended Dr. Avent. He needed to get a cap for a broken tooth. He loved Dr. Avent and his staff. Two years later my daughter was 3 and old enough to also see Dr. Avent. We have changed insurances twice as well as move about an hour away - however we will continue to go to Dr. Avent! He is a wonderful dentist to both of my children given them excellent care. The staff is very friend and seem to remember all the children by name. We plan to go here as long as we can!!!

We have Tricare, which is accepted at Dr. Avent's office, so our bills have been minimal if any. His office is bright and cheerful, as are the staff. We have found Dr. Avent himself to work wonderfully with children and we now travel there from 3 hours away.

Dr. Avent was the only dentist out of 5 dentist that we visited that did not want to strap my son down and drill on his baby teeth when he was 3 years old. I knew that if I let one of those other dentist do that my son would never go to the dentist with out being terrified. He was very honest about my sons treatment and not concerened with making money. I could have taken all 3 of my children some where else for a little less money but I wouldn't have dreamed of it. The care that they have recieved over the last 18 years has been well worth the costs. As a matter of fact my son is 21 and my daughters are 19 and 16, and they all still prefer to go to Dr. Avent. He and his staff have always been wonderful to my family, even when we called him at 11 pm because my daughter broke her teeth. Thank you for your many years of service Dr. Avent and staff.

Novicane wore off mid procedure. It has been 9 years and I still refuse to see a dentist.
