I am traumatized from my experience there. My 4 year old daughter was hyperventilating and he wouldn't let her up to catch her breath. I told him to stop and he said no. She was leaned way back in the chair and he was just trying to get her done as fast as he could while she was kicking and screaming and hyperventilating. She was saying it hurt and he just kept going. I kept saying stop and he wouldn't stop. As a parent I felt helpless. I left bawling with my daughter bawling. He didn't even care that he traumatized me and my daughter. When I told him that he was insensitive and I was never coming back and he said ok like it was no big deal and went off to help the next person like I was nothing. I have never had a dentist treat my child like that!

That's a wonderful, very kind and patient doctor, and very nice office too, good atmosphere for kids!

Dr. Gallegos is AWESOME,the kid's adore him and the STAFF is really GREAT ! they are very comfortable in going to the Dentist, in fact they look forward to the token's the Dr. gives to the Children to spend in the prize machine once the appointment. is completed.

I have used Dr. Gallegos for my sons dental care since he was 2. Every time we went to the Dr office he said everything looked great. They did mention they were unable to get xrays. When my son was 5 they were able to get xrays and they told me he had 8 cavities. I have asked on two separate occasions why we did all these check ups if they were not going to find these cavities sooner. I was told they did not want to traumatise the boy. I feel many of these cavities could have been avoided with better preventative care I understand at least 1/2 the blame is mine but the Dentist could have done a better job either gotten xrays sooner or probed a little more checking for the soft spots cavities leave. I asked them to help with taking $200 off my bill of $1156 but the office manager said no. I feel the Dentist is more in the bussiness to make money than provide proper preventative care. The dentist was able to charge $456 for each set of cavities he has no incentive to help us.

Their billing department is in another state, its like a collection agency. They don't get your treatment authorized before they work on you, so BEWARE.

I was refered to Dr. Gallegos by my regular dentist to do fillings for my 4 yr old son. Initially I planned to return with my child to see my regular dentist, but after seeing how well my child was treated at this office I have transfered and will continue to have my child seen by Dr. Gallegos. Not only was he caring, but all of my questions were thoroughly answered, treatment options were gone over in detail and we agreed on the best one for my child. Front staff was great at explaining the co-pay and how insurance works. We look forward to dental visits now. Friendly and warm atmosphere. Definately a dentist whom I would recommend!

Absolutely wonderful! My oldest child first needed dental care at 8 months. Sympathetic to worried parents and gentle with children. Very knowledgeable in infant/toddler dental issues. Cognizant of the challenges of insurance coverage and costs to families.

We gave Dr. Gallegos one more chance than he deserved. His bedside manner is terrible. He does not know how to deal with special needs children. We actually had to take our child to the emergency room after our office visit. His dental assistance is just as bad or worse. No patience for children with anxiety issues.
