In 2010, Dr. Weeks performed a dental implant leaving me with damaged nerve (IAN) and associated numb/burning lower lip. During surgery, even though I was under anesthesia, I recall exactly the moment he drilled into the nerve and screaming in pain. Afterwards, when I told him about the continued burning and numbness, all he said was, 'I have some numbness in the middle of my lip.' This implant later became infected and had to be removed by an oral surgeon at Emory. Horrible experience.
