I was referred to Dr. Kao from a friend. He is thorough and thoughtful in his practice. Nice guy.

i went in because my former general dentist completely "overlooked" a loose lower front tooth and it was reccommended I visit a perio. Kao was said to be one of the two best in the valley. I later found he had a stint as head of the dental society. The guy is a perfectionist and is highly critical (I walked in on a dressing-down one time) towards employees. What Kao did worked. I think you will appreciate him. He discussed details of a potential malpractice suit against the (very) careless dentist I had had. Kao was availablel at all times during my recovery from the gum resection and graft.

Front Tooth Implant. First a post was placed. It went as he described. The jaw bone clung to the post in a couple of weeks. The he created the tooth and tested it. He did not like the look of it so he sent it back to be re-done. They remade the tooth and the it was fitted by my dentist.

When I arrived at Dr. Kao's office, I was kept waiting one half hour for an appointment that I was 15 minutes early for. The front desk staff was rude. This was an indication of what I would encounter with Dr. Kao. His staff reflects his attitude. I was told point-blank, "I could help you keep your teeth for 5, 10, 15 years, but it's too much trouble." He rushed through the evaluation and let me know that he had a very important lunch engagement he had to go to.
