Dr. Eric Chu had a calm, pleasant demeanor. He speaks clearly, in a straight-forward manner, and explains the planned procedures well, answering all questions. At the preliminary appointment he gives me the follow-up care instructions in writing and provides any needed prescriptions. I prefer to have nitrous oxide for more involved dental procedures, which he has available.
He has excellent skills, works efficiently, and is thorough. I have had him perform dental procedures which include: grafting of gums, extraction, bone graft, implant, and sinus lift, every one successful. The evening of the procedure he calls me at home to make sure that I am still doing fine. At the return appointment he removes stitches and checks again that all is healing well.
I routinely have my teeth cleaned every three months. Because I had several procedures done by him,alternate having these cleanings/check-ups done by my regular dentist and Dr. Chu's hygienist. I like the ongoing contact with Dr. Chu and am glad that he can monitor how my implants and my gums are doing.
The front desk staff and his assistants are all personable and caring. It is a pleasure to work with them. His office staff are very helpful with insurance and payment options.
About Hygienist: The hygienists are thorough and gentle, providing good service, answering questions, making suggestions and communicating well with Dr. Chu when they find any areas of concern. They give compliments as well as suggestions for areas where I might improve my brushing or flossing. Efficient and personable, the hygienists' cleaning usually takes about an hour.

I was referred to Dr. Chu to treat the bone loss on one of my teeth.
The service is excellent. He always follows up after each treatment
by calling me and make sure everything is Okay. I enjoy the his
visit a lot since he is a such pleasant person. The treatment is
very successful.

I had done gum grafting and dental implant with Dr. Chu, and the results were excellent. Dr. Chu thoroughly went thru both procedures in great detail and assure comfort during entire treatments. The personal phone call to my home post-procedures was very appreciated as well. His staff are very professional and friendly.
I strongly recommend Dr. Chu to any individual in need of periodontal work.
