Dr. Beckstead extracted my molar, added bone in the area, and then inserted a dental implant five months later. The procedure was completely successful with minimal pain. He used sedatives for both the extraction and the insertion of the implant, which made the procedures a lot less stressful and I was told the sedatives reduce post-operative complications. Indeed, I am thankful that I had no post-operative complications. Dr. Beckstead is very professional; I like his forthright manner. He answered my many anxious questions honestly. He and his staff were responsive to all my concerns. They were also patient; they explained the procedures to me several times. $2800 for just the implant was expensive, but Dr. Beckstead has a policy of discounting the overall charge by 5% if you pay in full before the implant procedure. Dr. Beckstead's office staff also efficiently and effectively handled the insurance billing for the extraction.
