I went to Dr Spector originally for a second opinion regarding gum surgery. I had already cancelled my first scheduled surgery with another oral surgeon after hearing that he was going to graft tissue from the roof of my mouth when I was wide awake. I have a very low tolerance for pain and was petrified. My husband suggested a second opinion. Dr Spector educated me on the procedure and the conscious sedation and his office manager went over all the costs. Dr. Spector actually does testing on other surgeons for conscious sedation which was very reassuring to me. His office manager had the gum surgery herself multiple times and help alleviate my concerns. I barely remember my surgery and the recovery was not a big deal. Dr Spector's after care is very thorough...he sees you for several weeks after the surgery. He is a wonderful caring doctor and so is his staff. I had such a positive experience that I just went through a second graft which was even easier than the first. Payment options were reasonable as well. I highly recommend Dr Spector.

I am really satisfied with the results of the gum grafting that Dr. Spector performed recently. I had had grafting done in Mexico and it did not work. Dr. Spector fixed the problem in my gums and worked in another section that needed grafting. His approach and diligence are excellent. The procedure itself and the care he provides after it exceeded my expectations and are far better than those provided by other dental providers.
I was also well impressed by his staff. Terry is really kind and helpful with appointments, insurance, etc. I also appreciated Rebecca's delicacy.
I have recommended Dr. Spector to my friends and family.

Dr. Spector is the best dentist I have ever had the pleasure of being in my mouth! When I first saw him, I had some gum problems and was told I might lose several teeth. Thanks to Dr. Spector and his wonderful staff, I now have healthy teeth and gums and I know that would not have been possible before going to him.
Dr. Spector is so kind and understanding...when I was fearful,
he calmed me, when I was in pain, he healed me. I wish all dentists were as caring and thoughtful as Dr. Spector.
I have moved to Orange County and travel to see Dr. Spector because I would never want to be without his care and expertise.
I have a friend that who now lives in Boston and she feels as I do (I referred her to Dr. Spector). We spoke a few days ago and she is planning a trip to see Dr. Spector for her routine cleaning with him. She and I will only have his hygienst, Penny, clean our teeth! She is the most thorough hygienist I have even know.
He is and his staff are great and I would recommend him to anyone in need of a periodontist.

Dr. Spector is a tremendously patient, caring periodontist. He excels in precision and staying up to date on the most modern independent research-based methods. Both my implants and bone graft were extremely succesful. Plus I know many of his long term patients seeing him for periodontal treatment, who have improved tremendously, and have always been happy with him and his wife/hygeinist, Penny.

Almost all the appointments, I need to wait for 30 minutes in the waiting room, then another 15-30 minutes inside the patient room, the staffs are very aggressive in collecting money.
