I had some work done by Dr. Lamb and I just felt that his practice was too hectic. I did not feel comfortable knowing that he is involved in so much especially with all the travel that takes him away from the practice. He is more like a part time dentist part time instructor.

Dr Lamb teaches dentists from all over the world how to do dental implants without cutting a huge flap in your gums. Dentists pay big bucks to attend his seminars so he obviously knows something valuable. He has a very large state of the art teaching facility in Foster City with all the very latest technology and he is booked solid. Dr. Lamb, unlike many dentists, LOVES dentistry. He takes great pride in doing implants which minmize gum and bone trauma. I have had three implants done by him and all I needed was a couple of Advils after the procedure. The mild residual pain was from the novacaine injections, not from the tooth extraction or implant procedure. He charges no more than ordinary dentists for implants (about $2250) and he is the best. He is a lively affable guy, not aloof at all. He REALLY cares about his patients. He gives you his cell phone number so in the unlikely event that there is a problem you can reach him 24/7. If you need an implant he is the man to see. I am very picky and did a lot of diligence . The dentist who recommended Dr. Lamb is a perfectionist himself and gave me plenty of concrete reasons why Lamb was better than the rest. His technique is state of the art and he is a highly regarded teacher. A+
