Initial consult for a dental implant for a lateral front tooth for our 16 year old daughter. Dr. Paul very proffessional, explained what was likely needed, and why. He was clear on what best and most difficult scenarios might entail, based on the necessary 3D images. He did seem to be speaking to me more so, than my daughter, which she prefers the reverse. (Our usual wisdom teeth-oral surgeon speaks more directly to teen patient)
In final consult he seemed conservative in his decision.. He is warm, calm and always confident which helped us feel confident about choosing him.

About Front Desk: Friendly customer service, not easy to get an appointment but that may have been the limited time options I offered. They efficiently set up the alternate X-ray appt for us, saved us a call , and lingo. Clean, appealing office, glad to not be paying for extravagant fancy office!

Dr. Paul has done serveral extracations and post implants for me. There were a number of related difficulties, not of his making to which he devoted considerabale time and expense and he did not charge me a penny! Dr. Paul is kind, and excellent technician, extremely thorough and pain free. His services far exceeded my expectations and I would recommend him without reservations to any and everyone.

Latest procedure was Phase II Surgical Therapy -quadrants of periodontal flap therapy, and as previous procedures it was a complete success. No pain during the procedure, quick recovery, apprehensive follow up care. Comfortable facility, professional yet personable staff. Dr. Paul has a professional yet friendly chair-side manner. Insurance coverage excellent.
I have and will continue to highly recommend Dr. Scott Paul.
About Hygienist: Julie has been cleaning my teeth for many years and I am completely satisfied with her expertise, gentleness, thoroughness and friendly chair-side manner. The cleaning take between 45 minutes to one hour and my teeth feel clean and healthy.

For sure the best periodontologist in San Diego! Truly recomended if one has a gum problem. You will be treated with greatest professionalism, newest technologies as well as compassion and on target solutions.
