To say the least Dr. Gonsky is as honest as the day is long. He's a very decent and impeccably honest dentist that gives you the straight scoop.
My mom was told by another dentist that she supposedly had a low grade infection in one of her molars along with serious gum problems. Suspicious of this dentists prognosis, I did extensive research on good periodontists in the area and was blessed to find Dr. Gonsky.
Needless to say he assured my mom that she had no infection and no gum disease and within 5 minutes alleviated the throbbing sensation that she was feeling in that tooth by doing a painless bite adjustment.
P.S.
Other reviews said he was costly. Well, the other dentist my mother saw locally wanted 800.00 to do a so called deep cleaning and Dr. Gonsky was only a fraction of that and does it in only one visit. It would be fair to say we are Gonsky converts. :)

Dr. Gonsky is a very caring, friendly, soft spoken gentleman. He is efficient, methodical and performs his duties effortlessly, and painlessly.
His chair-side manners are impeccable as he puts one at ease regarding the procedures that are about to occur. All questions are answered with heart felt honesty. Follow up calls are handled in the same manner .. You are never rushed in and out, nor are you ever left to wait excessively in the lovely, comfortable arrival area of the office.
Dr. Gonsky's team; his wonderful wife Libby, his assistant Kim, Jane his hygienist, Kathy his receptionist, and all the staff members are professional in every sense of the term
"Professional."
Going to "The Dentist" is a pleasant experience at Dr. Gonsky's office. I highly recommend Dr. Gonsky, you can not find a doctor with better credentials.

Dr. Gonsky is a much better Periodontist than he is a golfer....and he is an exceptional golfer.

Missed one appt (called the morning of to say I couldn't come in) and was terminated as a patient. Other than this bizarre behavior by the dentist, was very satisfied.

As a rule, I have a firm dislike of dental treatments and have avoided this at all costs. As a result of that attitude, in 1988 I was informed that I might lose several / many teeth and was referred to Dr Gonsky for a consultation.
Dr. Gonsky and his team have helped me overcome my trepidations and have helped me maintain my natural teeth. After 17 years, I have only lost one tooth. I have had one implant and I am very happy with the outcome.
This has been a learning experience on a much broader scale than just my dental health.
Dr. Gonsky has a pleasant calming demeanor and explains things thoroughly. I would recommend him highly!

Excellent dental acumen and facilities. Very pricey but good things are. Do not miss an appointment, though. Not one... as you will not get a second chance. You will receive a letter stating the doctor's absolute surprise and insult over his professional time being so callously disregarded and you will be dropped as a patient. This dentist has some serious issues going on ... but a good periodontist.
